The idea behind Talking Links

About Talking Links

Sometimes, a form just isn’t enough.

We’re developing and testing Talking Links before opening it to the public. You can join the early-access list while we prepare for launch.

Room to explain what matters

Forms work well when you know exactly what information to ask for. But not every answer fits neatly into a checkbox, dropdown or short text field.

A customer might need to explain what went wrong. A student might struggle to describe what they didn’t understand. A prospective client might have requirements you hadn’t thought to ask about.

Conversations give people that room, but answers scattered across calls, messages and emails can be difficult to review. We’re building Talking Links to bring these two approaches together.

Something as easy to share as a form, as natural as a conversation, and as useful as an organised record.

One question. More meaningful responses.

The experience we’re building starts with one shareable link. You describe what you want to know, then invite people to respond naturally by speaking or typing.

When something important is missing, Talking Links can ask a relevant follow-up question. Each person’s response is organised into useful information, while their original words remain available.

The goal is simple: make it easier for people to explain, and easier for you to understand.

Different situations. The same idea.

A teacher can find out which parts of a lesson need more explanation. A business can gather clearer customer enquiries. A recruiter can understand an applicant’s experience. A researcher can collect detailed responses without forcing everyone into predefined answers.

In each case, people get space to explain what matters, and the person collecting responses gets individual records they can review.

Who’s behind Talking Links?

Talking Links is being developed by Digiwares, an independent software builder focused on practical web products.

Our focus is on making the experience simple for both sides: the person sharing the link and the person responding to it. We’re listening to early feedback as we refine the product.
